Walking In Deliverance - Part 2: As we continue our teaching series on Walking In Deliverance, we need to really understand how God delivers and how to walk in deliverance.
So first, let's get an understanding on how God delivers.
How Does God Deliver? He delivers with HIS Word by Faith.
There are 3 places in God's Word that proves when His Word is proclaimed, preached, or taught, that deliverance is normally instantaneous or very quick "IF" received and acted upon by the hearer.

Give Thanks On Thanksgiving Day & Everyday: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) says: "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
He did not say "give thanks FOR everything" he said "Give thanks IN everything". There is a major difference.
The word "give" here in 1 Thessalonians 5:18; means to present, exhibit, furnish, bring, do, offer, shew, and minister. So this is not just a prayer of thanksgiving. It's much more. It's a LIFE of thanksgiving.

For God Has Not Given Us A Spirit of Fear - Part 69: When we are trying to practice doing God's Love, we sometimes have to remember 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".

Love Is Not - Weakness - Part 66: One the greatest lessons I ever learned was from my late brother - Rev. Steven K Wright, who taught me that "Love Is Not Weakness".

Desire Alone Doesn't Cut It With God - Part 9 - It's Time To Believe: In part 8 of the series "It's Time Believe" we taught on Faithless Desire (The Mary and Martha Syndrome) and used the story found in St. John the 11th chapter about Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha as our point of reference.
We said Faithless Desire is desiring the promises of God, but not believing God will grant them to you.

Faithless Desire - Part 8 - It's Time To Believe: Many Christians suffer from what I call the "Mary & Martha Syndrome" or "Faithless Desire". Faithless Desire is a desire for God to do great things for you, but no belief that He will.
When you read the 11th chapter of St. John, there is the famous story of Lazarus, who Jesus raised from the dead. The real story line is about Lazarus' two sisters Mary and Martha. Jesus was trying to get Mary and Martha to believe what they desired.

Making A Decision To Live By Faith Pt 7: Continuing in our Christian teaching series "It's Time To Believe", today we will discuss making a decision to live by faith. You must decide to live by faith.
Romans 1:17 says "...the just shall live by faith." However, the just (every Born Again child of God) has to make a choice to live by faith. It's a decision.

Believing You Have Received vs. Shall Receive Pt 6: There is a world of difference between believing you have received verses believing you shall receive. One is present tense and the other future tense.
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24 KJV)
Notice the order here in Mark 11:24 "believe you receive them" precedes "ye shall have them" In fact, notice that this verse never said "believe we shall receive" , Jesus said "ye shall have them." Earthquake Triggers Aftershocks Among Christians: As a devout Christian, who faithfully reads the Bible, I can not help but to be reminded of what Jesus said about earthquakes every time I hear a report of one in the news. The aftershocks of an earthquake for many Christians is a reminder of what Jesus said.

How To Believe & What Believing Really Is - Pt 3: Just telling someone to believe sounds simple and easy, but how to believe is another story.
In this series on "It's Time To Believe" we have focused thus far on the importance of Christians believing the promises of God, but now we are shifting our focus to teaching Christians on "how to" believe and what believing really is.

It's Time to Believe Knowing vs. Believing - Pt 1: Think about this for a moment; Jesus called us "Believers". Notice that He did not call us "Knowers". Names have a very important meaning in scriptures and are not to be taken lightly.
Knowing something but not believing it will make you confused and perplexed.
Now do not get me wrong, knowledge or the lack of knowledge and understanding, is very important. In Hosea 4:6 God said "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." In Proverbs 4:7 we read the instructions "...with all thy getting get understanding."

Creflo Dollar Arrested Christians Concerned Discipline or Abuse: Lets us all be in prayer for Pastor Creflo Dollar and his family, as he was arrested for battery against his 15 year old daughter.
Now is the time for true Christians to pray that Jesus will be lifted above all else that brings shame on the name of Christ. We are not accusing Pastor Dollar of being guilty, nor are we defending what I have no knowledge of, other than media reports. And we know, as Christians, how the secular media portrays Christians.
