Believing can sometimes be a very difficult task to do, especially when there is evidence that causes you not to believe, what you are trying to believe.  Did you catch that?

Mark 11:22-24 (KJV) “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

It takes Faith to believe ALL the promises of God found in His Word.  Even the Gospel of Jesus Christ will not benefit or save us, IF, we do not believe it.  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)

Faith is the power to believe.  In order for the “Good News” (the Gospel) to personally benefit and manifest on our behave we must believe it will.

A Christian who struggles with believing God’s promises is a deficient Christian.
