His Love Never Fails Equals Thy Will Be Done – Part 32

His Love Never Fails Equals Thy Will Be DoneHis Love Never Fails is what most Christians believe about Jesus and rightly so.  But do we also believe, when Jesus taught us to pray to God, “Thy Will Be Done”?

You will find out the answer to that question prayerfully in this teaching today.

The theme question we have been chasing in our last several post in this Christian teaching series titled “It’s Time To Believe” has been; Does Our Love for Jesus  Fail Him?

The answer to this question can be found in our prayer life.

Whenever we Love the Lord with ALL our heart, soul, mind, strength, and might (Mark 12:30); our hearts and minds towards God will always be “Thy Will be Done“  – not our will be done, but His.

“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10 KJV)

Loving God always leads us to His will being done, not ours.  When we love God with ALL, we desire to do ALL of His will and none of our will.  In fact, we end up losing our will, for His will.  That is what dying to self is really all about – losing our will for His.

Loving God will ALL will cause us to forsake our will for His will.

Matthew 6: 9-13 reads:

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

To quote this model prayer that Jesus taught, all it takes is a good memory, but to live it, do it,and manifest it; it requires a love sacrifice, especially the part that says; “Thy will be done”.

Thy will be done can only manifest in our lives to the degree we love God.

When we love God with ALL His will be done becomes our mentality or way of thinking.

Since God’s Word teaches us in Mark 12:30 to love God with ALL – “ALL” automatically implies that we can love Him with less than ALL.  Hence, there are degrees of loving God or levels of Loving God.

In Bible Study one night at our church, one of the ministers made a profound statement that I will never forget.  He said, “not every one loves ALL of God”  And that is so true.

In Jeremiah 9:24 (KJV) says; “But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.”

Everyone loves God’s loving-kindness, but a lot of people do not love His judgement and righteousness.

For example; I think about those who erroneously believe that can live a gay lifestyle and still be saved.  They love to talk about God’s loving-kindness, and how God is love – which He is – and how God Loves them – which He does – and how God is a forgiving God – which He is – but they hate to talk about  His judgement and righteousness.

God destroyed (that means killed) a whole city of people who refused to turn away from the sin of homosexuality and lesbianism.

Read it, I am not making this up.  Get your Bibles and read Genesis 19th chapter and Romans chapter 1.    God did not change His holy and righteous standards because America endorses the gay lifestyle.  God did not change His holy and righteous standards because being gay and supporting the gay movement is a popular thing to do today.

“For I am the Lord, I change not…” (Malachi 3:6 KJV)  God’s standards of holiness and righteous does not and will not change with the times.

As I always say, “It’s God Way or The Hell Way.”  We have to make a choice and God has given us the ability to live His Way or our Way.  I pray that you will choice Life.

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” (Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV)

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15 KJV)

It’s Time To Believe what God said about love not the popular opinion that America is trying to brain wash us to believe.  God is a Holy God.  (1 Peter 1:15-16)

The point I am making is that we have to love ALL of God, not some of God, or the parts of God we like.  And when we love ALL of God, we keep ALL of His commandments (John 14:15), period.

However, when we love God with “some”  of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and not ALL of it; we will only desire to do “some” of His will and not ALL of His will.

God is a ALL or nothing type God.  He wants it ALL.  He wants ALL of you.

Loving God with ALL always leads us to seeking His total, complete, or perfect will.

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) says it this way: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Now I am going to stop here and continue in our next post from where we are leaving off now.  You do not want to miss our next teaching.

Now if I offended anyone, please do accept my apology for offending you because that is not my goal. However, I do not apologize for teaching, standing on, and defending the Gospel of Christ.

The purpose of this teaching was to prayerfully convince someone with the message that “His Love Never Fails Equals Thy Will Be Done.

In The Love of Jesus Christ,

Pastor David.
